Backlog

I used to post pictures in social media real time... as it happens... but then I realized, it shouldn't be that way. I should enjoy the moments as it happen. Posting of pictures can wait. There is no substitute to the real thing.

Friendzoned

Tulad ng dati, madali pa din akong:
masanay
pangitiin
pasayahin
magtiwala

Tulad ng dati...sanay pa din akong:
maging malakas
maging matapang
mag-isa

Asa pa!

The mountains are calling...

"Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep on climbing." - B. Finlay

And I must go!

After experiencing the outdoors in October 2014 when I joined a bunch of new friends in climbing Mt. Palay Palay or more popularly known as Pico de Loro, the thought of climbing a mountain has never been the same!

I remember asking when will be the next climb upon reaching the campsite. And didn't stop until we have one scheduled for November.  I was sore few days post my first climb. I can barely move my legs and considered riding the MRT my biggest challenge.

The happiness I felt when I reached the summit didn't wear off despite of the body ache I had to endure for a little less than a week! I feel so lucky for being able to witness God's work of art right before my very eyes! Such a bliss!!!

The thought of climbing excites me... all the time. As my new friend Van puts it, I'm as excited as a kid joining a fieldtrip for the first time!

Really? This was taken 5 years ago?

With Ben10! Hahaha! I miss my long hair and chubby cheeks! I think this was taken in Megamall.

I'm supposed to tell you more about who took this picture... but I decided not to.

Waste of time and space.

"Too busy" is a myth

We find time for the things we value.

3K

One of my closest guy friends in high school whom I lost contact with after graduation suddenly reached out to me 7 years ago... He visited me with his girlfriend and spent the afternoon catching up. Followed up by few phone calls and sms days after that meeting.

He suddenly sent me an sms borrowing money... I don't remember how much he was asking but I remember I lend him three thousand pesos (Php 3,000). I didn't ask when he will pay me back as he proactively told me that it will be by the end of the following month. Sure. And besides, we're friends. Close friends. I trust him.

Days passed... it's almost end of the month he promised to pay... he reached out saying he can't make it due to lots of reasons. Sure.

Months passed... He is no longer reaching out. I needed the money thus, I tried calling him but he is not picking up. Until he changed his number.

Yes, that's how he ended our friendship. It made me sad not because he didn't pay me. But because for him, our friendship is only worth 3K. He threw everything for three thousand pesos.

Cheap.
